“Christmas gives us the opportunity to pause and reflect on the important things around us – a time when we can look back on the year that has passed and prepare for the year ahead” – David Cameron
It is good to take a pause and look back to see what all happened this year and get ready for the next year. I believe that reflecting allows you to recenter yourself. It gives you a chance to truly be grateful for all the amazing things that have happened while at the same time giving you a chance to learn from the not-so-amazing things that happened in the year. Personal reflection allows you to process all the experiences we have had. The thing is, you don’t grow from our experiences if you don’t truly understand them. That is why reflecting is so important.
This is my way of reflecting on my year. #wasillyrewind
Yikes, that sounds a lot like YouTube rewind.
Let’s get started
When I was 12, I found out that my dad owned a domain called “Wasilly”. He wasn’t using the domain, so he said I could have it. Something about the name intrigued me so I began blogging on it. I wasn’t very good. I used to write random things which usually didn’t make any sense. I soon stopped blogging and completely forgot about the site until two years later.
2 years later, I was thinking about starting a blog again, but this time I wanted to do something unique. Something different. I wanted to make a blog to inspire others. I guess blogging never truly left me 😂. On April 4th of this year, I posted my first post. Through the process of getting my blog started, people often called me crazy and said I was too young. They said no one would ever look at my blog and that I should give up, but I ignored them. I’m glad I did because I got to admit, Wasilly has come a long way in a short time. Wasilly has a long way to go and I need all of your support. I hope to make Wasilly a big success with your help.
Here is a recap of my year.
(A little music never hurts)
And with this, I conclude my 45th post.
I would like to truly thank all you incredible people who read my blog.
Have a Happy New Year.
Keep Changing the World.
